Carlsbad police seek witnesses to hit-and-run collision that injured pedestrian

Carlsbad, CA–Carlsbad police detectives are seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run vehicle collision that seriously injured a pedestrian Friday night.

The incident occurred at around 11:06 p.m. at College Boulevard at Salk Way in Carlsbad.

Police officers were dispatched to the scene of the accident and found a 26-year-old female pedestrian with life-threatening injuries in the roadway. On initial investigation, officers found the victim had been hit by a vehicle. Carlsbad Fire Department paramedics transported the woman to a local area hospital.

Investigators are gathering information about the collision and are looking for witnesses. If you are a witness or have information, call the accident investigator, Corporal Fant at (760) 473-8722.
