Pet of the week: Nell

February 10, 2021 by San Diego

Nell

ENCINTAS–Nell is pet of the week at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 3-year-old, 21 pounds, female, Chihuahua and Dachshund mix (Chi-Weenie).

Nell and her three puppies were stray before being taken to a rescue in the Imperial Valley. They were transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program. She’s shy but ready to start her new life.

The $145 adoption fee for Nell includes a medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.
