Oceanside, CA–Two boats at the Oceanside Harbor Monday afternoon were destroyed by fire, according to the Oceanside Fire Department.

Firefighters and Oceanside police officers responded, just after 4 p.m., to the two-alarm blaze next to the harbor’s launch site behind the City of Oceanside’s maintenance shop.

One of the charred boats was partially underwater. The other boat did not sink, but sustained heavy damage. Both boats were a total loss.

There were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
