eigoMANGA heads to San Diego Comic-Con with Manga Artist Chang Sheng

San Jose, CA–eigoMANGA a media company for publishing digital comics, animation, and games will showcase its productions at San Diego Comic-Con International next week.
Comic-Con is the nation’s largest comic book, science fiction, and pop culture event, and will take place on July 20 to 23 at the San Diego Convention Center.
eigoMANGA, along with manga artist Chang Sheng, will exhibit and host panels that showcase their productions of comics, animation, games, and mobile apps; this includes Sheng’s award-winning manga series “Oldman”.
Based in Taiwan, Sheng is the creator of “Oldman,” as well as “The Hidden Level,” “Baby,” and “Yan.” “Oldman” and his other works have been released worldwide; translated into English, French, Japanese, and Korean. These titles have won awards such as the International Manga Award in Japan, the Kyoto International Manga Award, and the Golden Comic Award. His recent manga publication, “Yan,” has concluded and is currently being adapted into a film for a 2024 release.
Sheng will make a special in-person appearance at eigoMANGA’s Booth #1802 at Comic-Con on Friday, July 21, from 4 to 5 p.m. to meet fans and sign autographs. Additionally, Sheng will take part in a panel discussion called “Writing for Comics and Manga” in order to share his artistry and his creative approach to writing manga titles. This panel is scheduled on Thursday, July 20, from 6 to 7 p.m. in Room 29AB.
eigoMANGA will also hold two live manga workshops on Thursday, July 20 from 4 to 5 p.m. in Room 11. They will present a “How To Draw Manga” workshop. eigoMANGA team of artists will hold a tutorial workshop to teach the fundamentals of manga illustration and storytelling. They will also be on hand to critique portfolios from up-and-coming artists.
On July 23 from 10 to 11 a.m. also in Room 11, eigoMANGA will instruct a “Manga Tutorials for Kids” workshop. The workshop will be moderated by eigoMANGA’s team of manga artists and animators as they offer kids of all ages tutorials on manga illustrations and storytelling.
