San Marcos, CA–A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested Tuesday in connection with manufacturing un-serialized ghost gun parts in San Marcos, authorities said.

Sheriff’s Department detectives located the teen’s home and obtained access to the room belonging to the juvenile. While searching the home, detectives found a gun part fabrication process, several gun parts, including a completed lower handgun assembly, and ammunition. Detectives seized the manufacturing elements, the gun parts, and ammunition, according to the Sheriff’s Street Narcotics and Gang Team.

The juvenile was arrested and booked into custody at Juvenile Hall for various firearm-related charges. Due to the juvenile’s age, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department cannot release any further information on the minor.
