Authorities seek information on two suspects involved in Baskin-Robbins burglaries

San Marcos, CA–Sheriff’s Department detectives and San Diego County Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects responsible for two commercial burglaries in July in San Marcos.
The first burglary occurred on July 14 just before 12:30 a.m. at the Baskin-Robbins located in the 700 block of Nordahl Road in San Marcos. Two suspects used the combination to access a lockbox that contained a key to enter the store. They stole about $120 in cash and caused damage to the store’s security system.
The second incident occurred on July 17 just after 11:30 a.m. at the same Baskin-Robbins location. This time, the two suspects forced their way inside by shattering the front glass door. While inside, they located and dismantled the safe, stealing about $1,500 in cash. Damage to the safe is estimated at around $2,500.
The Sheriff’s Department has obtained surveillance video that captured footage of the suspects.
The first suspect is described as a man standing around 6′ feet tall and weighing around 180 pounds. The second suspect is described as a man standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing around 210 pounds.
