Pedestrian struck by train near Old Town Transit Center

San Diego, CA–A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after he was struck by a Coaster train in Old Town, Saturday morning, San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.

The incident happened around 9:50 a.m. at the Old Town Transit Center, located at 4005 Taylor Street in San Diego. 

San Diego Fire Department personnel transported the man to UCSD Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.  

The Sheriff’s Department Transit Enforcement Unit is investigating the incident.
