Suspect wanted on felony warrant arrested after he fled from deputies

Oceanside, CA–A suspect wanted on a felony warrant was arrested Saturday morning after he fled from San Diego County Sheriff’s deputies during a “compliance check” in Oceanside.
Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Escondido police were called to the scene to assist Sheriff’s deputies in searching for the suspect who reportedly was hiding near some homes.
Authorities closed Asilado Street and Calle De Casitas to traffic while conducting the search.
Officers located the suspect near a residence and surrounded the location. They took him into custody without any incident.
